Kampala district is Uganda’s national and the commercial capital that borders with Lake Victoria which is the largest lake in the African Continent. Hills covered with red-tiled villas, trees surrounding this urban Centre of contemporary skyscrapers. Also, some hills are surrounded by slums for example; in between the hills of Makerere and Mulago, you find the Katanga slum, In between Mengo and Kibuli you find slums like Kisenyi, Katwe, etc… In this capital district of Uganda, it’s where you’ll locate historical and heritage places like the Uganda Museum which exhibits the country’s tribal heritage with lots of extensively collected artefacts. On the Mengo hill is where you’ll locate the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom’s Palace, which can also be understood as the seat of the king for the Buganda Kingdom.
